"Cooper caper"

Films: Monster Dog (1984)

Alias: Vince Raven, his dad, the old man

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Most rock stars would like to think that getting a starring role in a movie makes them the greatest instantly. But some forget that like all other actors, effort is required. Sadly, it wasn't enough to get this werewolf tale out of obscurity with Alice Cooper.

History: Vince "not Alice Cooper" Raven was the leader of a travelling rock band heading to his childhood home for another gig. He and his friends didn't take long to notice all the weird murders and happenings going around. Some have figured out that Vince's dad was a werewolf they executed a long time ago, and many are worried that Vince has carried on those lycanthropic genes...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The monster dog's true identity is an old man, who gets shot after he bites Vince. Soon, the rocker's love has to gun him down before he transforms.

Powers/Abilities: Monster dogs can command other dogs to act at their beck and call, as well as pass on their curse by biting.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-While we don't see the fully-transformed variety that much, they are still nasty pieces of work in the night. It doesn't help that they can summon an army of rabid hounds to tear you apart for them.

Trivia: -This was the directorial debut of Claudio Fragasso, who had previously done scripts for Bruno Mattei.

-Alice Cooper only starred in this film so that he could see if his rehab from alcohol had payed off. We...guess?

I won't forget that Alice Cooper, of all people, starred in this in a leading role.
"Where's the goddamn crack money?! I need my fix!"
